Geek dinner in Paris

Last night I went along to a geek dinner organized by Brian Suda and friends in Paris to promote microformats. Brian, among many other things, is an expert in microformats and recently was technical reviewer for a book just launched on the topic.

Eric Miraglia has posted a video of David Weinberger’s visit to Yahoo last week. He was there to chat with Bradley Horowitz about his latest book Everything is Miscellaneous. David argues that we are moving into a post-Aristotilean age with respect to information. Runtime is 55 minutes. Recommended viewing and food for thought.

Virtual Career Fair, May 15th-17th 2007

TMP Worldwide are hosting a Virtual Career Fair in SL this week. Deadline for resume submissions is Monday May 14th. Candidates are asked to specify their preferred times and dates for interviews during registration. Those whose experience matches recruiters requirements will be contacted directly with interview details which will be held on TMP Island in-world.
