Vodafone takes up residence
Catching up on new feeds over on our YouTube channel I noticed that Rivers Run Red have posted a tour of Vodafone Island. As with the recent AOL Pointe launch there is a much needed evolution away from merely building a presence towards creating a unique user experience. Assuming staffing cover has been put in place identifying two dedicated hosts for the island is also a welcome development.
Knowing the mobile space intimately and well aware of Vodafone’s expertise acquired within the exhibition and event space over the years it is surprising to see they have not extended the SL experience from sign-up to orientation to arrival at the island. Perhaps something for both Vodafone and AOL to think about going forward.
