Happy happy birthday to Creative Commons which celebrates its fourth birthday tonight globally and virtually. Join Jimmy Wales, Joi Ito and Lawrence Lessig on the island of Kula in world tonight between 9-11pm PST/SLT for the party.
The Yak Shack Showdown on December 16th is a fun event with 100% of the proceeds going towards Save The Children. You will find the Yak Shack on the north west corner of Midnight City. Even if you cannot make the event pop along and show your support over the weekend.
Useful Technology Corp launches its Usability Island on December 17th. Its planned rewards/loyalty program for SL residents who become regular contributors will be interesting to follow.
A Scanner Darkly DVD launch party will be held at The Infinite Mind on Tuesday December 18th from 6pm-10pm PST/SLT. Ignore the date currently displayed as December 12th on the SLURL web site which is incorrect.
